Native mode allows connecting official controllers using the internal BT module and give it the features of the XPAD plugin such as remapping. Custom mode still supports official PS controllers but will need a separate usb Bluetooth adapter to connect them wirelessly. This mode is needed for Xbox controllers but is not needed for official PS controllers. Custom mode is simply my implementation of the usb controller pad driver. I will first explain the difference between custom and native modes. The main focus of this release are the additions of two different modes (custom and native), the VSH/In-Game menu, and wireless support for DualShock 4 controllers. - added disconnect/reset all ports option.- added auto game detection and attach to game proc.- added user configurable controller delay which sets response time of controller.- added user configurable settings file (xpad_settings.txt).- added game compatibility modes (fixes GTAV & RDR).- added wireless DS3/DS4 support (needs usb BT adapter).- added custom and native driver input mode.- fixed the remapping issues where the controller seemed buggy when it was enabled. Also I will be away from my main computer for the holidays and wanted to push a release before I left. The background color of the UI_AIO.zip box should be yellow because it is having files overwritten by UICO.I intended on adding a couple more features into this release but would have added more delay. Simplicity, itself! Make sure the UICO archive in the Wrye Bash Installer tab is under DarN UI or Dark DarN - or, if you've used my All In One UI Installer, make sure UICO.zip sits under UI_AIO.zip. Then select the Install context option from this mod in the Wrye Bash Installers tab. If you really like GUI installs, this mod included Wizard in Wrye Bash to walk you through the setup!Ħ.d. Otherwise, select the packages from the sub-packages list that are relevant to your configurationĦ.e. Manual installation is trivial thanks to BAIN simple package systemĦ.b.i This is highly NOT RECOMMENDED given the nature of how often UI files overwrite each other.Ħ.c. As of v3.1.0, the mod uses the BAIN package system and is best installed with Wrye Bash.Ħ.a. Switch to Wrye Bash's Installers tab to complete the install.Ħ.b. Drop the archive in Wrye Bash's Installers tab if you're not installing this manually.Ħ. Install desired primary UI you will be using (base DarN UI, dark DarN UI, or keep it vaniller).ģ.a. See my guide on installing both DarN and Dark DarN UI configurations on my GitHub wikiģ.b. Get the All In One Installer file in the Optional Files on this mod's File's tab!ĥ. Adjust the Launcher settings to your preference afterwards.ģ. Regenerate your Oblivion.ini by deleting it from %USERPROFILE%/Documents/My Games/Oblivion/Oblivion.ini and then launching the Oblivion Launcher to have it recreate the Oblivion.ini for you.Ģ. The ideal for this mod is that if you stopped reading at the end of this sentence you'd still be able to figure out how to install and use this mod.ġ. It is also compatible with the HUD Status Bars Mod (I use it myself) and any mods that modify the HUD rather than navigational UI. As of version 3.x.x+, these navigational keys will work with Vanilla UI, DarN's base UI, and gothic251's DarkDarNUI. This mod is centered around navigation of the UI and doesn't touch any of the gameplay side of controller interaction, that means no adjustments to key mappings or performance for running, walking, attacking, etc. Luckily, some of the navigational features can also be useful for PC users if you are comfortable reaching for the arrow keys on the keyboard or have the arrow keys mapped to macro keys on your keyboard/gamepad/mouse. Stay tuned for the Vanilla version release which should include similar fixes!Įver wondered why the controller support for Oblivion was never really ported to the PC? Me too! I made this to help make the navigation and control of Oblivion's user interfaces with a controller a lot more intuitive and similar to how Oblivion runs on the Xbox 360 version. Made the Quest Added menu much more intuitive and accepting/activating quests more straightforward Made shortcuts and easier access for menus like the Barter and container menus see description for details on using! Made the Recharge menu and a few others more spatially intuitive Fixed an issue with the dialogue menu not correctly allowing you to select the "Goodbye" option Made all quantity adjusting menus much more similar to the 360-version where you no longer have to mouseover the Quantity/Adjusting Slider just stay on the OK button and press the left/right-arrow keys accordingly to adjust the quantity! Implemented new persuasion menu shortcuts! Check out the description for details on how to use! Tried and failed to make a more controller-friendly Lockpicking menu, sorry folks :/ ![]() Fixed issue with Spellmaking and Enchanting menus
